Experiment with Cotton Rag Paper #3, Acrylic Paint and Heavy UV pigmentation. A3.
There isn’t much describing required for this one – I wanted to see how the paper would cope under pressure. I mixed and blended a few paints direct on the paper. It coped very well – hardly any distortion while the paint dried off, then returned to a workable surface afterwards. The rose has been somewhat of a motif lately. I find painting them very therapeutic and relaxing! It’s all gentle sweeps and curves, much more satisfying to paint than straight lines.
