Digital, Second in a series of four.
Today’s subject is Roxy, the 14 year old Great Dane. She’s a gentle giant, and has seen me through most of my journey. She’s also the laziest dog in the world, but at her age that’s perfectly acceptable. For a Great Dane, 14 is a very good age!
I’ve gone for a Warhol-esque feel. Warhol liked to combine vivid colour and halftones for his screenprinted works. I’ve taken the halftone effect one stage further, using lines to achieve an engraved aesthetic.
